It's important to spend time with yourself

Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, has always felt like a place apart, but stepping into it as my first solo trip was a different kind of awakening. Known as the winter capital of the state and often called "Little Lhasa" because it’s home to the Dalai Lama, the town carries a quiet, reflective weight that I hadn't realized I was craving. For the first time, I wasn’t traveling with family, kids, or friends. It was just me—a much-needed departure from the relentless pace of corporate life and the busy blur of daily routines. Being here, disconnected from the usual noise, finally gave me the space to breathe. There’s something about the mountain air that shifts your perspective. I spent my days walking through the winding paths of Little Lhasa, finding the stillness I’d been missing back home. It wasn’t just a vacation; it was an opportunity to slow down, look inward, and truly retrospect on where I’ve been. Looking out over the peaks, the constant pressure of my "real life" began to feel a little smaller, and the path forward started to look a bit clearer. It turns out, sometimes you have to travel miles away from everything you know just to get a better plan for the life you’re building.
