We didn't do much on Maui, and that was entirely the point. Mornings started slow with coffee on the lanai watching the light change over the water, then a drive out along the Road to Hana with its impossible number of one-lane bridges and waterfalls tucked just off the shoulder.
Snorkeling off Ka'anapali turned up a sea turtle within the first ten minutes, which felt like an unfair amount of luck. By evening we were usually just sitting on the sand, watching the sun go down orange over the water, in no hurry to be anywhere else.
