Gaudi, Tapas, and the Sea in Barcelona

We spent our first afternoon completely lost inside the Sagrada Familia, craning our necks at the stained glass throwing colored light across the columns. Gaudi's buildings all over the city feel like they were dreamed up rather than designed, and Park Guell in the late morning light backed that up completely.

Evenings meant tapas crawls through the Gothic Quarter and a very long walk down Las Ramblas toward the water. We ended most nights on the beach, still warm from the day, watching the lights come on along the coast.
